Commercial Kitchen Ceiling Material
Included in each design, Mariljohn carefully considers the commercial kitchen ceiling material for lighting, ventilation, acoustics and maintenance. Having worked with over 10,000 clients since our establishment, we have developed all of the in-house skills for building long-lasting commercial kitchens. With over 30 years’ experience in Australia, we have extensive knowledge of the commercial kitchen ceiling requirements as defined by Government legislation. As part of these regulations, the commercial kitchen ceiling height – typically 2.4m* – must be met.
*Note: this includes any ventilation, storage or other ceiling structures.
Another consideration is that commercial kitchen ceiling tiles are not often used as they are difficult to clean to meet hygiene standards – where no dust, grease, food particles or insects can collect. As such, we commonly use stainless steel (see Estelle – ESP) or other materials that are impervious and washable.
